Information You Send
Search entries
A name or location typed into a search box is sent to the third-party provider that operates the tool. Logan County Busted Mugshots does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and requests
If you email or send a contact message, the information in that message is kept so a reply can be made and the exchange can be managed. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law or needed to protect rights and safety.
Technical Data and Cookies
Routine page requests can produce technical records such as:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent
- Referring site, when supplied
- Date and time stamps
Cookies
Cookies or similar tools may help measure how visitors use the pages. Browser settings can block or delete cookies. Some features may work differently when they are blocked.
How Information Is Used
Collected information may be used to:
- Keep the pages available and responsive
- Send a search entry to the partner service selected for that tool
- Understand which pages are useful to visitors
- Find errors and address technical problems
- Show advertising that may be relevant to visitor interests
Links and Partner Services
The pages link to Logan County Jail information, VINElink, sheriff and police offices, courts, state and federal locators, archives, news outlets, and third-party tools. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination's privacy policy controls its collection and use of information.
Some advertising or search partners may measure activity across different sites for interest-based advertising. That tracking occurs on the partner's systems and is governed by the partner's terms, not by this notice.

Reasonable, standard safeguards are used for information under the service's control. No internet-connected system is fully secure, so the service cannot promise that data will never be accessed, lost, altered, or exposed.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent data, a parent or guardian may use the Get in Touch page to ask that it be deleted.
